Head Chef at Officina Gastronomica Italiana

The Head Chef, Gabriele Coniglio, derives from Turin, Italy. His professional experience is in some of the best kitchens in Piemonte, including various Michelin starred restaurants. Gabriele moved to Melbourne in 2012 and worked in a number of reputable restaurants including Caffè e Cucina, Bar Carolina and Aromi.

He brings his passion for the food of his land, Piemonte, which is one of Italy’s regions with the richest food and wine heritage, into the kitchen. Gabriele has outstanding culinary expertise and experience in crafting all kinds of house-made pasta. His commitment to quality and the pride with which he creates is clearly demonstrated in every plate of his that is served.
